Conn Creek is located at Rutherford, practically across the street from Auberge du Soleil, so my friends and I came here after having brunch at the Auberge du Soleil Restaurant. This was the first winery stop for us and we all had a great time, mainly because Brittany was super awesome. My friend and I had never gone wine tasting at a winery before and Brittany took the time to explain everything in detail for us - how the taste of Cabs from St. Helena and Rutherford differ from one another even if it's the same year, her favorite restaurants in the Napa area, etc.
The wine I liked the most from the list above is the St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon. Although majority of the other wines were "just okay" in my books, I would come back and try other wines in the future because I had such a good time here. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and really nice decor.
I love all the different witty signs they display throughout the cellar. If I wasn't moving, I probably would have bought one of the big signs. Already picked up the "Note To Self, Drink More Wine" wine tag, now I just need to wait to get other cute signs like "Dear Fork, ... Sincerely Spoon"... jk... or maybe not...
Highlight: The amazingly friendly staff
Value: With how much you get coming out of the tasting - drinks, knowledge, making a new friend lol... it is totally worth it. I plan to come back here sometime in the future.
